The accommodation
Stay in one of the beautiful villas directly at the Terravista golf course. All villas are decorated in the typical Bahiana style of Trancoso. With large suites, a fully equipped kitchen and big verandas, you will get the feeling that you are at home. But as the breakfast will be served in your villa, the daily housekeeping and the concierge service you can enjoy your stay like in a hotel. To be mobile in the residential resort every villa has his own golf car.
The golf course

The region
The airport Porto Seguro is around one hour away. Or you come with a chartered or your private plane then you can arrive directly at the Terravista airport in the resort.
From the Terravista resort is only 20 minutes’ driving to Trancoso, one of the most famous villages in the state of Bahia. It is a very romantic village with nice restaurants and handicraft shops.
This region was the landing point of the Portuguese explorer, Pedro Alvares Cabral in Brazil, on April 22, 1500. That the reason why the cost is named the Discovery Coast. As in most of Brazil, the population is a mixture of native, African, and Portuguese or other European descendants. At the main square the ‘Quadrado’, you have the feeling you are in another century, all the houses are looking like in history movie.

Practical information for golf at Terravista
Terravista Golf Course has 18 holes and par 72 and was designed by Dan Blankenship. The back nine runs along cliffs about 40 m above the Atlantic, and the par-3 14th plays across two cliffs over the sea. The course is open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 4:20 p.m. The operator’s price list valid until August 2027 shows R$ 860 for 18 holes and R$ 735 for 9 holes for visitors; golf carts cost extra, and children up to 15 play free with a paying adult.
When is the best time to travel to Trancoso for golf?
The south of Bahia is warm all year. The months from September to March are usually the sunniest, while April to July bring more rain. If you want quiet tee times and lower prices, avoid the weeks around Christmas, New Year and Carnival, when Trancoso is very busy.
How do you get to Terravista?
Most guests fly to Porto Seguro and take the transfer of about one hour to the resort. Private and charter planes can land directly at the Terravista airport inside the resort, so you can be on the first tee shortly after arrival.
Can the Terravista golf package be changed?
