The course and facilities at Búzios Golf Club follow the design of Pete and Perry Dye, who are known for demanding layouts. The course lies on a narrow peninsula, so wind often changes club selection. It is fairly flat, with dense vegetation along the fairways and water on many holes. Hole 17 is the signature hole, a short par 3 with an island green. In 2019 the club reopened after a renovation led by Perry Dye.
