Curitibano Golf Club in Curitiba
Established in 1881, the Curitibano Golf Club in Curitiba is one of the oldest in the country. The golf course, however, just started to be part of the club in 1973, when Curitibano was united with Parana Golf Club.
It was the first 18-hole course in Parana State. It is surrounded by many different species of trees that attract birds such as hawks and owls. This course requires a lot of talent from players due to its layout, full of curves and water (there are 8 lakes and a dam) and strong wind that frequently blows in the region, which changes the direction of balls in mid-flight.
