Golf Country Club in Rio Grande

The first golf course in the southern city was Swift Golf Club. It used to be a property of the English meat warehouse, whose workers were responsible for spreading golf around Rio Grande do Sul State. When the company closed its branch in Brazil, some golfers got together to found the Country Club Cidade de Rio Grande, which is situated six kilometers from Cassino Beach, the longest in the world. The course is open to visitors.
