P.L. Aruja Golf Club in the state of Sao Paulo
The PL-Aruja Golf Club was founded by the Japanese and their descendants, who were followers of the Perfect Liberty religious group. With 27 holes, the P.L. Aruja Golf Club is one of the largest in the state of Sao Paulo. Each of the three 9-hole rounds has a different name. Pansy and Lily present a mixed topography with descents and climbs that pose a great challenge for golfers and make them think again when choosing the right club. However, Glory is a pretty flat course.
The club welcomes visitors on weekdays from Tuesday to Friday, but only with reservations made at least 24 hours in advance. Only members are allowed on weekends and public holidays.
The infrastructure of the PL-Aruja Golf Club
The club offers first-class training and warm-up facilities. A spacious driving range, a small practice bunker, its own short game section and a very large putting green.
The clubhouse is very spacious. Right at the entrance there is a small pro shop, a games and relaxation salon, and a large, simple restaurant. With the size of the cloakroom it is clear that the golf club has a large number of members. In addition to massage options, it also offers a sauna with open space.
If you like Japanese food, you should enjoy the large terrace with a view of the putting green and the 9th holes of Pensy and Lilly after your round of golf.
Both golf clubs, the Aruja Golf Club and the PL-Aruja Golf Club are only about 30 minutes from Sao Paulo-Guarulhos International Airport. So if you have a longer transfer time, you can get your feet wet with a quick round of golf.
