Teresopolis Golf Club in Rio de Janeiro

Founded in 1934, the Teresopolis golf club is a nine hole course, about 90 kilometers from the city of Rio de Janeiro. The weather in the area, located in the Fluminense Mountains, is usually mild and ideal for golf during the hot summer months. The course from the architect Robert Trent Jones is a challenge: during one 18-hole round, Paquequer River is crossed eleven times. The access to the club is restricted to members and their guests.
