Caxanga Golf Country Club in the state Pernambuco

The Caxanga Golf Country Club is located in the neighborhood of Recife, the capital of the state Pernambuco. Golf has been played in Pernambuco State since 1909 originally in the plain areas of the upmarket Derby neighborhood. But in 1928 was the first golf course in the State constructed, called “The Pernambuco Golf Club”. In 1944, the club was relocated to a new area between Caxanga Avenue and Capibaribe River. They renamed the club to Caxanga Golf and Country Club.

It´s a 18 lookholes course and guests are always welcome.
