Aquiraz is around 30 km away from the International airport Pinto Martins Fortaleza. It is one of the oldest cities in the state of Ceara. The village with the original name Vila da Capitania da Ceara was funded in 1699. Additional to their well-known and for tourists popular ceramic product is the main economy in tourism. Around Aquiraz you have kilometer-long beaches and the region is famous for the whole family. With children, you have to go once to the Beach Park and also to make a buggy tour along the beach.
